The concert CONTRASTS. In Memory of Edward Pałłasz is an event that commemorates the composer’s death on 22 December 2019. The word CONTRASTS is no coincidence. We will contrast Edward Pałłasz’s contemporary pieces for a cappella choir and with the Baroque works of the master Johann Sebastian Bach. 

“The prophetical and apocalyptical visions in the text of the Evangelist call for using extreme musical means. So I did. The entire score is divided into 12 parts, and in the climax there are as many as 24.” 

wrote Edward Pałłasz about his piece Et... whose lyrics are taken from Chapter 20 of the Revelation of St John and is dedicated to the Polish Chamber Choir.
